What's your name, where are you from? 

Bobby Acker, Columbia CA, USA.

How it was born this paisson? When and why did you start collecting? You remember your first PEZ dispenser?

I was watching an American TV show (Liza Gibbons) where people were showing their weird collections. One person collected PEZ, and I thought "That's cool" I want to start a PEZ collection! So I went to the grocery store and bought my first 10 or so PEZ to start my collection.

How many PEZ dispensers you have? 

Not really sure, maybe 800 to 1000 or so?

Which is your favorite PEZ dispenser?

I really like Test Pieces, SpongeBob is one of my favorites.

How did your family and friends react to your hobby and your collection?

Most think it's pretty cool, especially kids.

Do you have some rules for collecting? You collects only PEZ dispensers or any PEZ products? 

Only dispensers, no room for other licenced product.

Where do you buy them? You sell too?

Buy online, in local stores, and through PEZ dealers. I sell on eBay and through my website > CrazyCandy.

Generally, you have a maximum value of money to give for a PEZ dispenser? (optional)

Not really, it depends on how bad I want it and wether the rent has been paid.

What is the maximum amount you offered for a PEZ object? (optional)

$3000.00 For Make-A-Face (monthly payments for a year).

How can you manage the various dispensers that come out only in some countries?

I just keep notes. Sometimes it's hard to keep up.

Of the PEZ dispensers that already exist and you do not have, which would you like to have?

The original Kooky Zoo Cow A in all colors.

Which characters would you like to be made as a PEZ dispenser?

Well my answer would have been Scooby Doo, but now that those will be made I think a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer set from the old Christmas show in the 70's.

Do you think PEZ factory could be more innovative in some dispensers? Why?

Yes, more proactive with re-makes of old vintage molds like the "Pez Ponies" collectors would buy like crazy.

How do you store them? The dust, is a problem to you?

Currently bagged and sorted by series, and stored in totes.

Do you have any project related to the hobbie?

I'm working on collectors guides not just for PEZ but all interactive candy dispensers. Then someday a Crazy Candy Dispenser museum.

There is currently a lot of desire in social networks, that PEZ Candy in the USA, could be more participatory in the Conventions/Gatherings, as happens in Europe, Middle East or now in Asia. How do you see this situation?

I agree, they need to wake up and realize that the gatherings and conventions really drive the hobby. Kids eating candy are not paying the bills at PEZ hedquarters. It's the crazy collectors that drive to over 50 stores to get every valentine heart variation. :-)

What advice would give to a new PEZ collector?
Get on the PEZ list and Facebook pages ASAP. Make friends and network. Your best info will come from other trusted PEZ collectors.

In addition to PEZ, collect anything else? What?

Absolutely not, check my eBay searches every day.
