What's your name, where are you from?
Shiho Adachi しほ. I'm living in Kanagawa, Japan. I'm from Fukusima prefecture. The place is kind of famous now in a bad way...

How it was born this paisson? When and why did you start collecting? You remember your first PEZ dispenser?
When I was a high school student. I saw a first PEZ at a supermarket. It was Mickey.

How many PEZ dispensers you have?
I'm not sure exactly. Maybe about 5.000? I have many doubles.

Which is your favorite PEZ dispenser?
My favorite is an orange! Love his eyes. :-)

How did your family and friends react to your hobby and your collection?
My family hate it. They say "you spend money for just plastic". I don't care. They are poor. My friends say nice hobby. But mostly friends don't know what PEZ is.

Do you have some rules for collecting? You collects only PEZ dispensers or any PEZ products?
I'm collecting PEZ and all goods. Many japanese people don't know about PEZ but many products making in Japan. Strange.

Where do you buy them? You sell too?
Supermarket, Internet shop, auction and toy shop. I'm not into sell it now. But if you need some PEZ I can help you.

Generally, you have a maximum value of money to give for a PEZ dispenser? (optional)
It depends on the dispenser.

What is the maximum amount you offered for a PEZ object? (optional)
It's Bubbleman! About $420.

How can you manage the various dispensers that come out only in some countries?
I almost always buy from import retail shop in Japan. If I can't get a new PEZ, I'll wait to have chance. I don't hurry. I'm not an active person.

Of the PEZ dispensers that already exist and you do not have, which would you like to have?
I need a lemon with sunglasses. When I saw it on Facebook I fell in love.

Which characters would you like to be made as a PEZ dispenser?
Godzilla! Doraemon! Sailor moon!

Do you think PEZ factory could be more innovative in some dispensers? Why?
If they use same mold, they don't need to spend extra money, don't need to use an effort. For example soccer ball, basket ball, smiley face and earth. Just put on print. I like it. But I think it's dreary work. I hope to see like old PEZ Pals again.

How do you store them? The dust, is a problem to you?
I don't display PEZ. They are in cardboard boxes. Because I'm living like a rabbit house. Sad!

Do you have any project related to the hobbie?

I don't have anything. I use Facebook. It's only one tool to connect between PEZ collectors and me. We talk on the wall about PEZ. It's very fun!

There is currently a lot of desire in social networks, that PEZ Candy in the USA, could be more participatory in the Conventions/Gatherings, as happens in Europe, Middle East or now in Asia. How do you see this situation?
The tools (social networks) are very nice. If you can't go a gathering but you can know about it from attender PEZ friends. You can get the newest PEZ from it.

What advice would give to a new PEZ collector?

Don't be serious. Have fun!

In addition to PEZ, collect anything else? What?
I'm collecting something similar to PEZ.

Can you spend a day without thinking in PEZ?

I always thinking about PEZ! Maybe 14 hours. I sleep 10 hours a day.
